A browser with built-in ad and tracker blocking

Buck Protection provides ad and tracker blocking inside Buck Browser, with browser-wide settings and controls for individual websites.

Manage protection from the browser

Open the browser menu and select Buck Protection. Use Block ads and trackers to control protection across websites. Protection for this site pauses or restores filtering on the current website, with your choice saved for that site.

The protection panel shows how many requests it has blocked on the current page. The count measures blocked network requests.

Desktop filtering and updates

On Windows and Linux, Buck Protection also hides filtered page elements and refreshes its filter lists automatically. You can refresh the lists yourself from the protection controls. Android provides built-in request blocking and per-site controls.

Blocking some advertising and tracking requests can avoid loading those resources. Actual page speed depends on the website, connection and device.

When a website does not work as expected

Pause protection for that website and reload the page to compare its behavior. Restore protection after checking, or retain the site preference when needed. A per-site exception lets other websites continue using your browser-wide protection setting.

Blocking cannot remove every advertisement or tracking method, and it does not replace private browsing controls, website permissions or careful handling of downloads. See the security guide for update and installation checks.
